On Monday, headed into the Park around 6ish. Headed up towards Mammoth. Did the Upper Terrace Drive and stopped at Orange Spring Mound for a bit. I wanted to get some differant views of it some I climbed the hill across the road and tried to find a good view. There really isn't as there are a lot of trees obstructing the view. Got to check out a coyote for a little but nearby. Then made it down to the Sheepeater Cliffs as this was where we were meeting for the Phantom Creek...wait, I mean Panther Creek hike. A short but very enjoyable hike to the summit area where we had great views of the Swan Lake area and Gardiners Hole. After that had lunch at Sheepeater and spent the rest of the day cruising around the Lamar area. Eventually made it down to Lake Hotel where I would be staying the next 2 nights.
