so, flew into Billings on Thursday afternoon May 24th and drove down to Cody and then on to my destination for the evening the Shoshone Lodge which is about 4 miles from the East entrance. I had got up at around 3:00 am eastern time so by now it was around 5:00 pm mountain time so basically just got settled in and had dinner and passed out. The next morning had a leisurely start as the gate to the Park didn't open until 8:00 am. It had snowed a little and there was an inch or so snow on the drive in to the Park. It was a low key day. Just drove around a lot and stopped here and there. Didn't have much energy for some reason. I think I was overtired still!!
