MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 2005
We were on the road again at 9:25 and drove to Cheyenne to a McDonald’s to pick up breakfast. We just beat an entire busload of Japanese tourists – whew! I don’t know if I’ve mentioned how many foreign tourists we heard and saw in Yellowstone – but there were lots. Some of the languages I didn’t even recognize. Unfortunately this McDonald’s didn’t have steak, egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches, which are our favorites. We stopped in Cozad, Nebraska at a Subway to pick up dinner. We reached Preston’s house in Smithville, Missouri about 8:45 and were home in Independence at 9:30. What a great trip!
