Another pot-hole with a remnant of days when the tree patterns were different.
We began nearing the rise where we would see the pot-hole that held the ailing bison two weeks ago. Judging from the bison’s condition on our last visit, we fully expected a carcass, and didn’t want to surprise a carnivore. We don’t like to scare wildlife, (or ourselves).
